Help us to understand which of the words in the highlighted text are proper names.
In the task, you will
see screenshots of web pages with highlighted yellow text (this text will also
be written in a frame below). We
are interested in whether the following groups of proper names are present in
the selected text:
1. Names - surnames, names, and
patronymics.
2. Nickname (login - how the user appears
on all kinds of Internet resources.
3. Company names - including the names
of brands, Internet resources, magazines, computer programs, and applications. Examples: Amazon, The Times, Stack Overflow, Zoom.
4. Geographic features - names of cities,
countries, rivers, mountains, etc.For example Moscow, Georgia, Amazon
(Amazon River), Alps.
5. Other - other groups of
proper names. Consider here, for example, language names: colloquial
(for example, Azerbaijani) or programming languages (Python, Java),
media names: books, movies, music, and games (for example, The Last of Us).
Names like football clubs can also be attributed here.
Note: The text may contain several proper names. It should be noted all proper names.
Also very important to pay attention to the content around the selected text - he can suggest the answer
to the question, in front of you is a proper name (and to which group it
belongs) or not.
Examples:
1. Here is a screenshot
with a highlighted yellow wordTurkey. Translation
options can beTurkey, andTurkey. But if you see a screenshot
from a site with recipes, and Beef and Chicken are also listed next to Turkey,
it becomes clear that we are talking about a turkey. Then there are no proper
names in the text.
2. Here is a screenshot
with highlighted yellow text Amazon Music. This may mean either Amazonian music or Amazon music resource.
But if the Amazon site interface is visible in the screenshot, then obviously
we are talking about the second one and you need to select a group of Company names.
To indicate which group
a proper name belongs to, it
is necessary to select a word or a group of words with the mouse, and then
select 1 of the options (Name, Nickname, Company name, etc.) to which this word
can be attributed. This word should be colored in the color of the selected
group. If you want to remove the highlight from a word, you need to click
on it and select the option Clear.
IMPORTANT! If there is no yellow highlight in the screenshot or there is no
proper name in the text, this is considered an error: select the entire text
and select the option Error.
